Originating in the 19th century, this hat was made
popular by powerful British colonialism, and was used by all European
colonial powers.
It was even used by the United States Army in the
1880s.
The body of the helmet is made from
pith
(tree heart) in the same tradition as 100 years ago. This hat features
a canvas
covered exterior, vented top, and adjustable leather sweatband. Pair
this with our victorian goggles for a terrific retro steampunk sensation!
